Recording and Retention Notice

Last updated 6 September 2026

CallsReady answers phone calls with an AI voice agent. This page says plainly what is captured on those calls, how long it stays, and who has to tell the caller.

What is always captured

What is captured only if you turn it on

Audio recording is off by default. It is a per-agent setting. If you enable it, the call audio is stored and can be played back from the dashboard through a short-lived signed link. If you leave it off, no audio file is kept.

How long it is kept

Until you delete it. There is no automatic expiry. You can delete an individual call or clear your whole call history from the dashboard, and deleting a call deletes its transcript, its tool events and its recording. Deletion is permanent and we cannot restore it afterwards.

Your responsibility as the account holder

You control the phone line and the agent's script, so you are responsible for:

The simplest way to do this is in the agent's greeting. One sentence at the start of the call covers it.

Callers: how to get a call deleted

If you called a business using CallsReady and want the recording or transcript removed, contact that business first — they own the record and can delete it themselves. If that fails, write to support@callsready.com with the number you called and the approximate time, and we will pass the request on and act on it where we are required to.
